The Central Power Plant (CPP) generates and processes four main services to the University Central and Medical Campuses. These include steam, electricity, compressed air and domestic hot water. This requires an operating budget (FY08) of 7.6 million dollars and capital expenditures (reserve fund) averaging 4.3 million dollars annually. All aspects of Facility Management, Environmental & Safety and Engineering principles along with federal, state and local regulatory compliance are required to operate and maintain on a continuous basis.
